NAPO is very humble; let’s support him – Okuapemhene

In a show of support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the upcoming general elections, the Okuapemhene, Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo III, has praised the humility and actions of the party's flagbearer, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, and his running mate.
The Okuapemhene commended Dr. Prempeh and his team for seeking the blessings and guidance of traditional and religious leaders before embarking on their political campaigns. He urged the presidential running mate and his team to highlight the achievements of the Okuapem royal, President Akufo-Addo, and called on Ghanaians to vote massively for the NPP in the upcoming elections.
"Dr. Prempeh's acknowledgement of the role traditional rulers played in the struggle for independence and the establishment of the UP tradition is commendable," the Okuapemhene said. "I congratulate him on his elevation to the position of running mate of the NPP and urge him to work assiduously to support Dr. Bawumia to win and retain power for the NPP."
In his remarks, Dr. Prempeh acknowledged the crucial role chiefs played in the independence power struggle through their efforts of prayer and unity. He assured traditional leaders that when the NPP wins power, they will be put in their rightful places to contribute meaningfully to the nation's development.
Dr. Prempeh also introduced the Parliamentary Candidates of Akuapem South, Eric Apeadu Yeboah, Akuapem North, Samuel Awuku, and Okere, Daniel Nana Addo Kenneth, to the Okuapemhene and appealed for his support.
The Okuapemhene's endorsement of the NPP's leadership and their engagement with traditional authorities is seen as a significant boost for the party's campaign efforts in the Okuapem region and beyond.
