Hospital Shuts Down As Ghosts Allegedly R@p3 Nurses Mercilessly
Umzingwane District, Matabeleland South, Zimbabwe — A clinic in Zimbabwe has been closed following reports from nurses who claimed they were being sexually assaulted by 'invisible creatures.' The incidents, which have been described as bizarre, occurred at Shale Clinic in Umzingwane district. The creatures, suspected to be tikoloshes—a type of mischievous spirit in local folklore—are also allegedly causing disturbances at a nearby primary school, where they reportedly sexually molest teachers.
The closure of the clinic came after two female nurses and a male health technician reported being sexually abused by these mysterious entities. Themba Moyo, a local villager, confirmed the incident to ZimLive, stating:
“The clinic is closed because two female nurses and a male health technician ran away after complaining that they were being sexually abused. They woke up feeling moist in their privates with signs that they had sexual intercourse. This was happening at night. At the moment, there’s just a janitor and a nurse’s aide who live in the community.”
Another villager, who preferred to remain anonymous, explained that the health workers initially complained of feeling unusually tired in the mornings, which later escalated to reports of sexual assault. The male health technician experienced severe discomfort one night:
“The male health technician had a torrid time one night with the creatures pulling his penis and testicles. He struggled to walk in the morning as his privates were swollen. His wife had a miscarriage recently, and we believe this could be linked to the tikoloshe issue. They left as they could not tolerate the abuse anymore.”
In addition to the clinic, teachers at Shale Primary School have also reported similar disturbances, threatening to abandon their posts if the issue is not resolved. The villagers convened an emergency meeting and decided to hire prophets or traditional leaders to address the problem, suspecting tikoloshes to be behind the alleged assaults.
During a cleansing ceremony conducted by a prophet from an apostolic sect in Rusape, a local politician was identified as the owner of the tikoloshes, causing shock among the villagers. Moyo recounted:
“There was shock all around when our local Zanu PF councillor was pointed out as the owner of the tikoloshes. She was quite upset and took the matter to the police, who arrested the prophets. The prophets were later fined US$20 each at Esigodini and released.”
Despite the initial cleansing attempt, local traditional healer Headman Nkala dismissed the ceremony's effectiveness and stated that traditional leaders are now seeking the services of "genuine" prophets.
The situation remains tense as the community grapples with these mysterious and troubling occurrences, seeking a resolution to restore normalcy and safety to their lives.
