Scary Incident Reported at Shai Hills, Authorities Responding

Shai Hills, Ghana - From source, Emergency crews are responding to a reported accident involving a passenger minibus in the Shai Hills nature reserve outside of Accra. The incident occurred along the main road running through the hilly recreation area.

According to initial reports, the minibus somehow lost control and crashed into the roadside around 3 pm local time. Eyewitnesses say the vehicle did not go over any cliffs or edges, but rather came to a halt directly alongside the winding road.

The exact number of passengers on board and the extent of any injuries is still unclear at this time. Rescue teams have reached the scene and are working to provide medical assistance and assess the situation.

Authorities have confirmed it was a minibus transporting multiple passengers that was involved in the accident, not a private vehicle. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
